This two hour tour which is growing in popularity is conveniently located near the town of Fortuna. It offers a comfortable, relaxing excursion for people of all ages. There are daily departures from the Arenal Dam, including early morning fishing excursions and sunset cruises upon special request. The captain is fully bilingual, US Coast Guard approved, has all the Costa Rican Navigation permits and insurance on board, so all you need to do sit back and enjoy your tour. This Luxurious Pontoon Boat is covered for shade and or weather protection, and even comes with a porta potty.

Rate: $35.00, child under 10 $28.00, maximum 12 persons. Tour hours are 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Transportation cost varies.

Fishing tour begins at 5:30 a.m., ½ day duration of four hours Includes: Bilingual boat captain, all fishing gear, sandwiches, fruit, soft drinks. Tour rate is $150.00 for 1 or 2 fisherman, $75.00 per extra fisherman, maximum 4 fishermen. Rate for non fisherman and child under 10 pays $50.00, maximum 6 people.


Two hour sunset cruises depart at 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Includes your friendly bilingual captain, fruits, snacks and soft drinks. Rate: $50.00 per person, child rate $35.00 under 10, maximum 12 people*
