Bungee Jumping

While throwing oneself off a bridge attached to a relatively thin elastic cord may not sound like a holiday for most people, Bungee Jumping is generating great interest in Costa Rica. Popular with young Costa Ricans and adventure-seeking tourists, the sport is less expensive here than in the U.S.

Since all international safety standards are observed, the sport is really very safe, no deaths or serious injuries have been reported in Costa Rica since 1993, when this sport arrived.
