Our sport programs offer North American based teams an exciting option to go to Costa Rica and practice soccer, volleyball, baseball or softball against local teams. Well coordinated and designed packages ensure the right balance of games and touring. In an effort to make this an intercultural activity, post-game receptions with the opposing team players and their parents take place after every game at the different locations. The participants of these programs don’t only get to know the natural beauties of the country, but also its’ people and culture.

Day 1- San José
Arrive in San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica, where you’ll be met by your program guide. Transfer to your hotel for an arrival briefing and dinner.
Overnight: Europa Hotel or similar. Meals included: D.
Day 2: GAME 1 - San José City Tour Today we’ll travel around the city on a half-day sightseeing tour. We’ll visit several attractions including the National Museum and the National Theatre - an architectural jewel. This afternoon, we’ll play our first game against a San Jose team. We’ll also enjoy a post-game reception with the opposing team.
Overnight: Hotel Europa. Meals included: B, L, D.
Day 3: Cafe Britt Tour - Monteverde
After a hearty breakfast, we board the bus and head towards Monteverde. On our way there we stop at Cafe Britt’s coffee plantations and participate in an exciting tour to learn all about the planting, harvesting, roasting, and brewing of some of the world’s best coffee. We continue to Monteverde for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: GAME 2 - Monteverde
This morning we will enjoy a guided walk through the Monteverde Cloud Forest. We’ll learn about the importance of cloudforests and discover why so many plant and animal species inhabit these areas. This afternoon we play our second game against a Monteverde team. After the game we’ll have a chance to exchange experiences during a small party.

Day 5: Arenal Volcano Region
Descend the highlands of Monteverde and head towards the Arenal Volcano region. We’ll make several stops on the way as we circle the Arenal Lake while enjoying the magnificent view. We’ll stay overnight in Arenal.
Overnight: Hotel Lomas del Volcan or similar. Meals included: B, D.
Day 6: GAME 3 - Arenal Volcano - Tabacon Hot Springs
This morning we’ll play game three of our tour against a competitive local team. Later we’ll be able to relax and enjoy the wonderful thermal waters at Tabacon Resort from which we could see the lava flows and hear the rumbling of the Arenal Volcano.
Overnight: Hotel Lomas del Volcan. Meals included: B, L, D.
Day 7: Sarchi - San José
Today we return to San José via the famous arts and crafts town of Sarchi where you may purchase some souvenirs to bring back home.
Overnight: Hotel Europa.

Day 8: GAME 4 - San José
This morning we’ll play game three of our tour against a competitive local team. Later we’ll be able to relax and enjoy the wonderful thermal waters at Tabacon Resort from which we could see the lava flows and hear the rumbling of the Arenal Volcano.
Overnight: Hotel Lomas del Volcan. Meals included: B, L, D.
Day 9: Departure
We go to the airport for our flight back home taking along a collection of wonderful experiences.

Day 2: GAME 1 - San José City Tour
Early departure for our city tour which will include the National Theater and the National Museum with its interesting exhibits of natural history and pre-Columbian art and artifacts. This afternoon we’ll play our first game against a San José team followed by a reception, so that you may get to know the nice side of your opponents and talk about the game.
Overnight: Hotel Presidente. Meals included: B, L, D.
Day 3: Manuel Antonio National Park
Today we take an excursion to this beautiful national park where you will enjoy the wildlife and spectacular vegetation. Your guide takes you through some of the trails of the park to end up at the secluded 3rd beach, a gigantic natural "swimming pool" with beautiful white sands.
Overnight: Hotel Kalahari (or similar). Meals included: B, D.
Day 4: GAME 2: Quepos - Manuel Antonio Beach
Early in the morning (around 9 am) to avoid the high temperatures later on, you’ll play your second game against a local team. You’ll then have time to go play and have fun at the beach and have the warm ocean waves massage your sore muscles before coming back to San José for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Sarapiquí - Canopy Tour
Today we’ll cross the continental divide through the Braulio Carrillo National Park with its impressive rain forests’ views and arrive in the town of Puerto Viejo where we’ll board a small but safe boat to take us along the Sarapiqui river. We’ll be on the lookout for monkeys, sloths, caymans, crocodiles and numerous aquatic bird species among other animals in this wet tropical ecosystem.
We’ll also participate in a "canopy tour" and enjoy zipping through the tree canopies between platforms located high in the trees. It is a safe, fun and exciting way to discover the canopy.

Day 6: GAME 3 - San Carlos - Tabacón
Traveling north we’ll go towards the Arenal Volcano in the San Carlos region, it is one of the most active and beautiful volcanoes in Central America. We’ll check in at our hotel and get ready for our third game against a San Carlos team. Win or lose we’ll enjoy a small field party after the game and make even more friends. In the evening we’ll go to Tabacon Hot Springs, right next to the volcano and enjoy a therapeutic natural massage in one of its many thermal pools. If we are lucky and on a clear night we might see an eruption taking place and the lava flowing down the slopes of the volcano. An amazing experience!

Day 7: Horseback tour and Arenal trekking
Early in the morning we’ll enjoy a nice horseback tour to La Fortuna Waterfalls and then go to the Arenal Volcano again, but this time we’ll go on a walk through the rainforest first and then into a solidified lava bed from where we’ll have a beautiful view of the volcano and Lake Arenal. Late afternoon we come back to San José.

Day 8: GAME 4 - Cartago - Irazu, Lankester Gardens, Orosi Valley
Today we’ll play our fourth game in Costa Rica’s old capital city: Cartago. Before getting there we’ll stop at Lankester Gardens and learn about the diverse and important tropical vegetation. We’ll also visit the town of Orosi with it’s beautiful colonial church and we’ll take a drive around the Cachi Lake, a picturesque route surrounded by coffee plantations and small farms. After the game we’ll have a chance to exchange experiences during a small party.

Day 9: Departure
We go to the airport for our flight back home after an unforgettable soccer experience in Costa Rica.

Day 1- San José

Day 2: GAME 1 - San José City Tour

Day 3: Manuel Antonio National Park
After a hearty breakfast we’ll head towards the beach, but it’s not just any beach, it’s Manuel Antonio National Park, considered to have some of the nicest beaches in the country. If you go on a hike along the park’s trails you’ll most likely find sloths, monkeys and iguanas among other animals.
On the way we’ll make a quick stop at Hotel Villa Lapas with it’s renowned gift shops in case you want to purchase some souvenirs to take back home. We’ll also stop at the Tarcoles River bridge, where you’ll enjoy the view of the many and gigantic Crocodiles down below. On the way back from Manuel Antonio we’ll stop for dinner in the picturesque town of Atenas, considered by National Geographic to have one of the world’s best climates.
Day 4: GAME 2 - Orosi Valley - Cartago
Today we’ll play our second game in Costa Rica’s old capital city: Cartago. Before getting there we’ll stop at Lankester Gardens and learn about the diverse and important tropical vegetation. We’ll also visit the town of Orosi with it’s beautiful colonial church and we’ll take a drive around the Cachi Lake, a picturesque route surrounded by coffee plantations and small farms. After the game we’ll have a chance to exchange experiences during a small party.
Day 5: GAME 3 - Heredia - Coffee Tour 
Visit another major city in the country and also a important soccer hub: Heredia. You’ll enjoy the tile roofs and adobe buildings still standing and in use, a legacy from the colonial period. The old church in the main plaza was built in the 18th century. We’ll also go on the Doka Coffee Tour and learn a lot about the most consumed beverage in the world. After the game you may choose to visit a disco or a mall in the San José area.
Day 6: GAME 4 - Soccer Festival Day
Today the emphasis will be to have a "culture-exchange day" as opposed to a competitive game. You will play in any of several teams all in the same complex, you might play several games today or just enjoy the BBQ, music and activities, and meet many new friends. It is a festive day for you to enjoy together with Costa Rican soccer fans of your same age.
Note: If you prefer to skip this activity we may arrange for a regular game either today or on day 7, just let us know.
Day 7: Poás Volcano - Butterfly Garden -Waterfall Hike - Sarapiquí River
Today will be a very busy day. Early in the morning, we’ll start visiting several beautiful attractions: We’ll start by going to the Poás Volcano, with its beautiful turquoise lagoon and enormous crater and learn about the cloud forest as we walk through it. We’ll then go to see some pristine waterfalls and a huge butterfly garden where you’ll learn about these interesting insects as well as the many hummingbirds that come and compete with them for the nectar.
Then we’ll travel to the Caribbean lowlands and experience a drastic change in climate: it will be much more humid and hot! We’ll board a boat on the Sarapiquí River and enjoy the tropical vegetation while looking for monkeys, sloths, caymans, crocodiles and many bird species. We’ll come back to San José crossing the dense rain forests of the Braulio Carrillo National Park. What a day!
Day 8: Departure
We go to the airport for our flight back home taking along a collection of wonderful experiences.
